With a passion for music that dates back to his early teenage years, Gabacho has been honing his craft and creating a unique sound that combines traditional and contemporary influences.

When asked about his musical journey, Gabacho started playing music at the age of 13 when his parents bought him an acoustic guitar. He began taking free guitar classes offered in Mexico and quickly developed a love for the instrument.

After a couple of years of learning and practicing, Gabacho started writing his own songs. He described his early compositions as resembling the artists he admired at the time, such as The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys. However, as he continued to grow as an artist, he realized the importance of expressing his own unique voice and incorporating his cultural background into his music.

Mexican culture plays a significant role in Gabacho’s music. He finds joy in blending traditional styles like cumbias and rancheras with rock influences. By mixing these different elements, he creates a sound that is both familiar and refreshing. Mexican culture, according to Gabacho, is not only an integral part of who he is but also serves as a rich source of inspiration for his music.

One aspect that sets Gabacho’s music apart is his ability to combine uplifting melodies with deeper, more introspective lyrics. He believes in the power of juxtaposing positive, danceable beats with profound messages. Drawing inspiration from authors like Gabriel García Márquez, Gabacho aims to create songs that are both enjoyable to listen to and thought-provoking.

One of his popular tracks, "El Recuerdo," beautifully exemplifies this style. With engaging lyrics and a catchy melody, the song invites listeners to delve into deeper emotions. Gabacho explained that his songwriting process involves capturing feelings as they arise and translating them into music and lyrics. This approach allows him to create songs that resonate with his own experiences and connect with listeners on a personal level.

Gabacho emphasized the value of not only learning about oneself through music but also the joy that comes from sharing it with the world. Though initially hesitant due to fear of judgment, he recognized that the risk of sharing his music was worth it. Knowing that his music brings happiness and resonates with others is a rewarding experience for Gabacho. With a willingness to share his personal journey and a desire to connect with his audience, Gabacho is poised to make a lasting impact on the music scene.
